The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining cable cutting and spooling equipment while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. Duties include setting machine tension, speed, and other specifications; cutting and spooling various cable sizes; tracking cable footage and updating lot cards; inspecting cable for defects; packaging finished products by strapping and skidding; and picking and storing cable using a forklift.
