Experience in the diesel mechanic, power generation field or similar mechanical experience to identify potential mechanical issues. Willingness to learn NOV policies, procedures, and equipment operations. Maintain a satisfactory driving record to ensure timely travel to job sites. Ability to safely perform general labor tasks within NOV safety guidelines. Successfully pass Pre-Employment Background Check, Physical, Audiogram, Vision Screen, Pulmonary Function/FIT Test, and Substance Abuse Testing. Willingness to undergo random and periodic Substance Abuse Testing. Ability to safely operate heavy equipment (forklifts, overhead cranes) as required.

Technician has advanced knowledge of the theory, principles and repairs relating to internal combustion engines, electrical circuits, and mechanical mechanisms applying to the repair of power generation equipment.
