POSITION OVERVIEW
The Executive AI Solution Advisor is a senior individual contributor within the Strategic Customer Program (SCP), responsible for driving SAP Business AI and Business AI Platform (BAIP) revenues and adoption across SAP's most strategic, premium-tier accounts. This role functions as the executive bridge between SAP's AI capabilities and customer C-suite leadership — specifically the Chief AI Officer (CAIO) — translating AI strategy into tangible business value, qualified pipeline, and measurable consumption growth. The role is dedicated to protecting and expanding SAP's footprint in the SCP segment, with an immediate mandate to drive AI adoption, consumption and accelerate new and upsell revenue.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Executive Advisory — Chief AI Officer Engagement
- Serve as SAP's 'Trusted AI Advisor' at the C-suite level, engaging Chief AI Officers across selected EMEA Top accounts
- Lead direct 1:1 CAIO advisory sessions, AI roadmap co-creation workshops, and executive business reviews
- Remove organisational blockers stalling mid-level AI adoption by gaining CAIO-level sponsorship
2. Pipeline Development & Revenue Growth
- Generate and qualify incremental pipeline through CAIO-sponsored initiatives
- Grow active pipeline within the SCP segment
- Shorten the Business AI and BAIP upsell cycle through executive-level sponsorship to reduce time-to-revenue
- Identify cross-sell opportunities across the broader SCP portfolio
3. AI Consumption
- Own the AI adoption of the Top strategic accounts
- Drive consumption growth for SAP Business AI Platform
- Deliver direct impact with assigned engagements in incremental consumption within a 12-month period
- Track adoption metrics, usage patterns, and renewal risk indicators across strategic accounts
4. AI Solution Positioning & Thought Leadership
- Position SAP Business AI, BAIP, and Joule as the foundational enterprise AI standard within strategic accounts
- Connect AI capabilities directly to customer business outcomes and competitive differentiation narratives
- Develop tailored AI transformation business cases and ROI frameworks targeted at CAIO audiences
- Maintain deep fluency in SAP's AI roadmap, GenAI capabilities, AI architecture, and competitive landscape
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with Account Executives and Solution Architects as the senior AI executive bridge to customer leadership
- Coordinate with Product, Customer Success, and Engineering to resolve adoption barriers and escalate product gaps
- Contribute intelligence on CAIO priorities and strategic account dynamics to refine SAP's AI go-to-market strategy
- Act as a thought leader and internal advocate for strategic AI adoption within SAP's strategic account program
- Engage with most strategic implementation partners to drive and land SAP's AI go-to-market strategy
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- 10+ years of enterprise software sales, solution advisory, or transformation consulting experience
- Demonstrated success engaging C-suite executives (CAIO, CTO, CIO) on AI and technology strategy
- Deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence (preferably SAP Business AI, SAP Business Technology Platform), and enterprise AI adoption
- Proven ability to drive multi-million euro pipeline and revenue growth in complex, strategic accounts
- Track record of AI platform upsell/cross-sell execution within large enterprise programmes
- Strong executive presence, communication skills, and ability to serve as a peer-level advisor to senior leaders
Preferred
- Prior experience in the SAP Strategic Customer Program, premium engagement, or equivalent named accounts model
- Background in AI strategy consulting, enterprise AI governance, or AI transformation programme management
- Familiarity with SAP Joule, SAP S/4HANA, and the broader SAP Intelligent Enterprise portfolio
- Knowledge of AI risk frameworks, responsible AI practices, and enterprise AI ethics considerations
- Prior Principal Solution Advisory experience within SAP or a Tier-1 software/consulting organisation
- Multilingual capabilities are an advantage given the global SCP account portfolio
