Job Description

Food allergy prevalence has risen significantly over the past three decades, now affecting approximately 1 in 13 children, with most cases presenting in the first year of life and contributing to substantial healthcare utilization, including frequent emergency visits for anaphylaxis. Despite strong evidence supporting early allergen introduction and new FDA-approved therapies that can alter disease trajectory—particularly in infancy—care delivery remains fragmented, delayed, and inconsistent across the region.

The APP will support the development of a first-of-its-kind, patient-centered “First 1000 Days” model of care that integrates prevention, early diagnosis, and timely therapeutic intervention to improve clinical, nutritional, and psychosocial outcomes. This role will ensure continuity of care and will manage routine follow-up to maintain timely intervention and patient progress.

The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for providing comprehensive care at an advanced practice level to children and their families through assessment, communication, clinical management, collaboration, coordination, education, program development, research, quality, professional development, and system participation.
