Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out general repairs as required within and the exterior of the facility
- Carrying out repairs on equipment, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, motor controls, pump seals, and motor bearings
- Welding and fabricating
- Preventative maintenance
- Monitoring and maintaining two high pressure boilers and 2 low pressure boilers
- General upkeep of the facility in a 24/7 steam & refrigeration plant
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial kitchen equipment
Qualifications:
- Have a 5th or 4th Class Power Engineering certificate
- Minimum 1 year experience as a maintenance tech working on electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, welding, commercial kitchen equipment, trouble shooting electrical faults and motor controls required
Job Specific Requirements:
- Previous maintenance experience is an asset
- Capable to Work Under pressure,
- Knowledge of HACCP procedures,
- Good communications skills, written, reading, speaking
- Willing to work shift work 24 hours / 7days, team player
- Needs to be mechanically inclined
- Knowledge in Electrical, plumbing, welding, troubleshooting, refrigeration / HVAC is an asset

Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must hold in good standing valid 4th or 5th class Power Engineering Certificate
Environmental Requirements:
- Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supplies up to seventy-five(75) pounds
- Regularly stands, bends, lifts and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours
Rate of Pay: CA$38.01 per hour (CA $3 per hour premium for candidates holding a valid 4th or 5th Class Power Engineering Certificate)
