Sales Account Executive - German speaking

Aerones is on the lookout for a dynamic Account Executive to join our European sales team! This is an active sales role — you'll be proactively hunting for new business opportunities and new customers, not just managing existing accounts. Alongside that, you'll manage and nurture relationships with our most valuable clients, ensuring their needs are met while driving business growth. Your expertise in understanding client requirements and delivering tailored solutions will be essential in fostering long-term partnerships, paired with a hunter's mindset for identifying, pursuing, and closing new opportunities in the market
Responsibilities
- Own and grow the German market as the primary focus of this role, while also supporting business development across other European markets.
- Actively hunt for and develop new business opportunities, both within Germany and across Europe more broadly.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Aerones' services to maximize revenue potential.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities, with particular attention to the German market, to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
- Prepare regular reports on account status, sales forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Conduct regular client reviews to ensure alignment on goals and expectations.
- Represent Aerones at industry events, trade fairs, and conferences across Europe (e.g., WindEnergy Hamburg) to generate new leads.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management.
- Experience selling products or services within the wind energy, renewable energy, industrial, manufacturing, or technical services industries strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of both new business development (hunting) and managing/growing key accounts.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in German and English required; additional European languages considered an advantage.
