University of Kalba is seeking a highly qualified and motivated dynamic, strategic, and innovative Blackboard Ultra Specialist to fill its position of: (1) teaching and training UKB’s faculty and students the functional tools Blackboard Ultra leaning management system; (2) be the Blackboard Ultra admin who will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure seamless integration and effective use by faculty, staff, and students.
This role involves technical support, user management, course setup, and troubleshooting to enhance the educational experience. This position, in addition to training duties, will manage and support all functional and technical aspects of the Blackboard Ultra environment. Provide support to its users via workshops, documentation, video tutorials, service requests and consultations.
Work with educational departments on campus for user buy-in and support. Work with individual faculty to set courses up in Blackboard Ultra from a functional standpoint. Enhance the Blackboard Ultra environment through the investigation and deployment of new technologies in collaboration with Information Technology technical support.
Manage educational technology implementation projects like Banner and LMS platforms.
