Process Engineer - Steelmaking (Upstream)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide EMF and WI (work instructions) to LDI (local design institute) and suppliers.
Provide input on equipment layout. Compile description book on process schedule.
Be able to compile potential key issues list of the equipment to reduce the occurrence of common design issues.
Compile specifications & requirements on instruments of key auxiliary devices.
Participate in commissioning at the end of one phase to ensure smooth operations of the production line.
Compile SOP of the steelmaking process.
Coach the local team to reach AM’s production standards. Handle complicated issues.
Compile and keep updating FEMA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
Coach the local team on AM Tech regulations.

Requirements:

Be familiar with AM products & engineering requirements.
Be knowledgeable& experienced in electrical steel.
Be highly motivated to join the greenfield project in China.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, planning and organization skills
Good English and Chinese language capability (must skills)
Possessing greenfield-project experiences will be a plus.
