Your Mission

Based in Ho Chi Minh City, you will play a key role in developing ArcelorMittal International's sourcing and sales activities across Vietnam. Reporting directly to the Country Head Vietnam, you will be responsible for expanding our presence in both ferrous and non-ferrous markets while building a strong network of customers and suppliers. 

What You Will Do Drive Sourcing Excellence

  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with suppliers of steel and non-ferrous scrap materials.
  • Source raw materials and semi-finished steel products from mills, traders, and scrap suppliers across Vietnam.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing structures, and contract terms.
  • Conduct supplier assessments and ensure quality and compliance standards are met.

Accelerate Commercial Growth

  • Expand the sales pipeline for steel and non-ferrous products in domestic and export markets.
  • Build strong partnerships with mills, fabricators, traders, processors, and end-users.
  • Identify new market opportunities and customer segments.
  • Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, contracts, and delivery conditions. 

Be the Market Expert

  • Monitor and analyze market trends, pricing developments, supply-demand dynamics, and competitor activities.
  • Represent ArcelorMittal at industry events, customer meetings, mills, and supply partners.
  • Support business development initiatives and strategic growth plans.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth trade execution, logistics, documentation, and financial coordination. 

What We Are Looking For Experience & Network

  • 3–6 years of experience in steel, metals, scrap trading, sourcing, or sales.
  • Strong understanding of the Vietnamese steel and recycling market.
  • Existing network of mills, traders, scrap suppliers, recyclers, and buyers that can be leveraged immediately. 

Education & Skills

  • Engineering degree preferred (Metallurgical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related disciplines).
  • Strong commercial mindset and negotiation capabilities.
  • Knowledge of steel and scrap specifications, grading systems, and trading processes.
  • Familiarity with international trade documentation and commercial terms such as LC, CFR/CIF, and payment structures.

Languages

  • Fluent Vietnamese and English, both written and spoken. 

Personal Profile

  • Entrepreneurial and hands-on.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable building new business opportunities and driving growth in a dynamic environment.
  • Results-oriented with a strong customer focus.
