As a Journeyperson Powerline Technician, you’ll focus on troubleshooting and repairing electrical lines connecting to homes and businesses. Promptly addressing outages and providing excellent customer service are essential responsibilities. Your position is also key to delivering superior customer service and maintaining positive customer relations. Additionally, as a journeyperson, you’ll assist in developing PLT Apprentices and other new employees.
What You’ll Do:
Construct, operate, and maintain overhead and underground power lines, substations, and related equipment.
Install and maintain street lighting systems, adhering to quality and safety standards.
Execute system switching, in line with Electrical Operations Standards.
