We are seeking a People & Culture Analyst to lead end-to-end recruitment for faculty and staff while serving as a compassionate, highly organized guide for our expatriate hires and their families. Through a proactive approach, strategic talent pipelines, and seamless recruitment workflows, hiring managers will feel empowered and supported. Because of your empathetic, high-touch relocation guidance, incoming expat educators will feel instantly at home in São Paulo, fully integrated, and ready to thrive. Ultimately, you will ensure that every colleague’s journey begins with warmth, care, and total operational excellence.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Full-Lifecycle Talent Acquisition & Systems Innovation
Lead the complete hiring process for diverse faculty and staff roles, from creative candidate sourcing and rigorous screening to interviews and offer extensions.
Serve as the primary point of contact and power-user for all recruitment platforms (including our ATS, video interview tools, LinkedIn, and international database search platforms), keeping systems optimized, accurate, and up to date.
Train, coach, and guide academic and operational leaders on recruitment systems and best practices, driving seamless, objective, and efficient hiring workflows.
Partner closely with leadership to understand evolving staffing needs, define compelling job profiles, and build active, high-quality local and international talent pipelines.
Ensure every applicant experiences a welcoming, respectful, and transparent recruitment journey that reflects Avenues’ mission and values.
Expatriate Experience & Global Mobility
Act as the trusted primary point of contact for expat hires and their families through every phase of relocation to Brazil—and eventual repatriation.
Smoothly guide expats through local housing, personal documentation, healthcare setup, financial services, and cultural orientation, ensuring a soft landing in São Paulo.
Oversee immigration, visa, and relocation vendors, ensuring service quality, timely execution, and strict compliance with global mobility policies and Brazilian regulations.
Develop continuous improvement initiatives and integration programs that foster cultural adaptation, helping expatriate families feel genuinely welcomed, supported, and connected to local life in Brazil.
Cross-Departmental Support & Colleague Experience
Partner closely with the People & Culture team to support broader employee experience programs when needed—including assisting with onboarding logistics, team integration, culture-building events, and offboarding workflows.
Provide collaborative support on key departmental initiatives, such as performance enablement cycles, professional learning events, and other organizational development projects.
Qualifications
ABOUT YOU
Fluent/advanced verbal and written communication skills in both English and Portuguese. You navigate formal documentation, candidate interviews, and personal conversations with equal ease, clarity, and empathy.
Proven experience driving full-cycle recruitment across both local and international searches.
Sound understanding of Brazilian labor dynamics, standard HR processes, and legal compliance.
Strong project management skills, an eye for process optimization, and a proven ability to manage multiple complex workflows with meticulous detail.
Prior experience managing expatriate mobility, relocation logistics, and expat onboarding in Brazil is a significant plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
