About The Role:

• We are seeking a commercially driven and entrepreneurial Business Development Lead to drive growth across Baxter's Patient Support Systems (PSS), Global Surgical Solutions (GSS), and Front Line Care (FLC) businesses in Vietnam.
• This is a highly visible market-facing role responsible for developing distributor partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, supporting strategic healthcare projects, and expanding Baxter's presence across the country. Working closely with distributors, healthcare providers, hospital stakeholders, and regional teams, you will serve as Baxter's local market expert and trusted advisor.
• The successful candidate will play a critical role in accelerating business growth, strengthening channel performance, supporting tender opportunities, and driving market adoption of Baxter's capital medical equipment and healthcare technology solutions.

Portfolio Overview:

Patient Support Systems (PSS)

The Patient Support Systems portfolio focuses on improving patient safety, mobility, caregiver efficiency, and clinical outcomes across acute and long-term care settings.

Key solution categories include:

• Hospital Beds
• Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Beds
• Therapeutic Surfaces and Mattresses
• Patient Handling and Mobility Solutions

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Growth

• Drive sustainable business growth across the PSS, GSS, and FLC portfolios throughout Vietnam.
• Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities through distributor partners and customer engagement.
• Develop territory growth plans aligned with business objectives and market opportunities.
• Support the achievement of revenue, market share, and profitability targets across assigned portfolios.
• Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Support strategic business initiatives and market expansion plans.

Distributor Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Baxter's distributor partners.
• Become a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for commercial support, guidance, and business development.
• Conduct regular business reviews and performance assessments with distributor partners.
• Support distributors in developing account strategies, managing opportunities, and achieving growth targets.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen distributor capabilities and market coverage.
• Ensure distributors are equipped with the tools, training, and support needed to drive business success.

Customer & Market Engagement

• Establish strong relationships with healthcare providers, hospital administrators, clinicians, biomedical engineers, procurement stakeholders, and key decision-makers.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
• Support customer meetings, product evaluations, tenders, and project discussions.
• Position Baxter as a trusted partner by demonstrating the clinical, operational, and economic value of our solutions.
• Support distributor engagement with key stakeholders across strategic healthcare accounts.

Sales & Commercial Excellence

• Drive achievement of sales objectives through effective distributor management and opportunity development.
• Manage opportunity pipelines and support distributors in converting projects into revenue-generating business.
• Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitive activities to develop winning commercial strategies.
• Support tender submissions, contract negotiations, and capital equipment opportunities.
• Deliver accurate forecasts and business performance updates to management.

Product Expertise & Training

• Serve as the local market expert for the PSS, GSS, and FLC portfolios.
• Support product demonstrations, customer presentations, and clinical evaluations.
• Collaborate with regional Product Managers to deliver product training programs, workshops, customer education activities, and clinical events.
• Support distributor capability development through ongoing product and commercial training.
• Communicate the clinical, operational, and economic benefits of Baxter's solutions to healthcare providers and distributor partners.

Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Act as the communication bridge between distributors, customers, commercial leaders, product managers, and regional stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Service, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to support business objectives.
• Escalate and resolve distributor and customer issues effectively to ensure business continuity and customer satisfaction.
• Support regional and local strategic initiatives to drive long-term growth.

Business Reporting & Performance Management

• Prepare and maintain accurate sales forecasts, territory plans, and business performance reports.
• Monitor distributor performance and key account metrics.
• Identify risks and opportunities and recommend actions to optimize business results.
• Provide regular updates on pipeline development, market activities, and growth initiatives.
• Maintain strong commercial discipline across assigned territories and portfolios.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Science, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in business development, distributor management, hospital account management, or solution selling within the healthcare industry.
• Proven track record in medical devices, capital medical equipment, healthcare technology, surgical equipment, or hospital solutions.
• Experience supporting distributor-led commercial models and managing healthcare customers.
• Experience with hospital procurement processes, tenders, and project-based sales environments is highly preferred.
• Experience conducting product demonstrations, customer training, workshops, or clinical education sessions is advantageous.
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and supporting business growth initiatives.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
• Fluent in English and Vietnamese.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Vietnam as required.
