The Training Coordinator will be responsible for identifying training needs and mapping out development plans for the employees of the Metrolinx’s Legacy Fleet Maintenance operations. This individual will collaborate with the management team, customers, suppliers, partners and involved stakeholders. Reporting to the Manager People Development and Training, will be responsible for managing, designing, developing, coordinating, and conducting training needs of the business.

CAD Rail Fleet Services (Ontario) Ltd. specializes in providing comprehensive rail fleet maintenance solutions. The company can establish fully dedicated maintenance organizations, including technicians, engineers, procurement specialists, and CMMS professionals. CAD Rail Fleet Services (Ontario) Ltd. has been selected by ONxpress Transportation Partners to maintain Metrolinx’s legacy fleet, consisting of approximately 1,000 bi-level coaches and 90 locomotives.

The company will operate and maintain Metrolinx’s rail maintenance facilities in Etobicoke and Whitby, as well as several servicing locations across the network.
