Summary of the role: The Training Specialist SME will be responsible for providing hands on and subject matter training within the Metrolinx Legacy Fleet Maintenance operations. This individual will report to the Manager

• People Development and Training and partner with the business to provide training support across the project. The specialist will work collaboratively with the site leadership and management team to ensure all areas of training are supported and business priorities are interpreted into very detailed approaches.

CAD Rail Fleet Services (Ontario) Ltd. specializes in providing comprehensive rail fleet maintenance solutions. The company can establish fully dedicated maintenance organizations, including technicians, engineers, procurement specialists, and CMMS professionals. CAD Rail Fleet Services (Ontario) Ltd. has been selected by ONxpress Transportation Partners to maintain Metrolinx’s legacy fleet, consisting of approximately 1,000 bi-level coaches and 90 locomotives. The company will operate and maintain Metrolinx’s rail maintenance facilities in Etobicoke and Whitby, as well as several servicing locations across the network.
