SwipeSimple is hiring an account executive for our inside sales team. You will sell SwipeSimple Connect, our direct offer that gives small businesses payments and customer management software in one place. Every day you will talk with HVAC companies, salons, chiropractors, counselors, and other service businesses. You will learn how each one gets paid, show the owner where SwipeSimple Connect fits, and close the deal.

Location: greater Las Vegas, NV, area. You will work in person with your manager
Reports to: head of inside sales
Type: full-time, non-exempt
Getting started: in-person onboarding during your first week, then a structured three-month ramp plan.
Background check: employment depends on a successful background check.
What you will do
Work inbound leads and reach out to new ones through cold calls, email, social media, and marketing campaigns.
Be the first person a prospective merchant talks to. Ask good questions, learn how the business runs, and explain how SwipeSimple Connect solves the problems the owner describes.
Run demos that show owners how they would take cards, send invoices, and collect payments.
Own each deal from the first call to a signed customer.
Build relationships that last after the sale. Owners who trust you send other owners your way.
Keep your activity, pipeline, and customer notes current in the CRM.
Tell marketing and product what you hear from merchants.
Follow the payments industry and our competitors so you can answer tough questions.
What you bring
At least 1 to 2 years of sales experience
Cold outbound experience and a record of hitting or beating your targets
Clear communication on the phone and in demos, plus solid negotiation skills
Comfort with a CRM and other sales tools
Strong organization and attention to detail
Drive to succeed whether you are working on your own or with the team
A positive attitude and a habit of learning new tools and sales approaches quickly
Nice to have
Experience in payments, or selling software or services to small and mid-size businesses
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

SwipeSimple is the practical payments platform built for how businesses work in the real world. We have built payment software since 2013 [verify], and more than 125,000 merchants use SwipeSimple. Business owners use it to take payments on a phone, tablet, computer, or compatible terminal, and to send invoices, payment links, and recurring charges. Merchants sign up through a SwipeSimple reseller or directly with us.
We focus on service businesses: HVAC, plumbing, chiropractic, physical therapy, salons and barbershops, mental health and family counseling, and more. Most of these owners do not read marketing publications. They ask other owners. They follow the podcasts and trade accounts their industry listens to. They trust a recommendation from someone who has done the job more than anything a vendor says.
Selling to them starts with understanding them. An HVAC owner and a salon owner get paid in different ways. In this role you will learn what these owners deal with, speak to the problems they have, and earn enough trust that they recommend us to each other.
