Administrative Supervisors are responsible for supervising and directing administrative and operational support activities for all Centra hospitals. The Administrative Supervisor maintains a global perspective of hospital and nursing operations. The Administrative Supervisor represents hospital administration to the public and internal and external customers. The Administrative Supervisor acts as a consultant, mentor, and advisor in day-to-day hospital operations. The Administrative Supervisor facilitates Centra's strategic plan and supports the practice of the professional nurse as reflected by the American Association's Code of Ethics for Nurses and the Nurse Practice Act of Virginia.
