The DMSE is the Centra education leader who supervises the scheduling and coordination of clinical rotations for LUCOM medical students at Centra and in the Central Virginia region. The DMSE works closely with LUCOM leadership to ensure medical students receive great clinical experiences.  The DMSE also communicates, develops, and implements educational strategies- in collaboration with both internal and external partners- to support Centra’s mission, vision, values, and strategic plans, ensuring a measurable retention of Centra trained students as long-term employees for Centra. OMESA’s mission: Train Here, Stay Here, Advance Here. 

Location: Primarily On Site with some remote work

Department: Office of Medical Education and Student Affairs (OMESA) 

Reports to: Corporate Senior Director, Human Resources  

Exemption Status: Exempt 

FTE: 0.2 FTE
