Employee Experience Specialist

Position Summary: The Employee Experience Specialist creates an upbeat and welcoming experience during every interaction they have with our client’s employees. A day in the life in this role will include answering employee’s inquiries via phone and email including but not limited to these topics: pre-employment screenings, remote new hire onboarding, virtual/webinar based onboarding, HR policy and compliance support, payroll inquiries, benefits administration, unemployment claims processing, and general employment related questions and concerns. This role also includes the exciting opportunity to assist in tasks/projects forclients or even companywide projects that will continuously improve our processes. You’ll play a significant role in the overall satisfaction of our clients and EmPower HR’s status in the marketplace as a best-in-class HR service provider.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide stellar service to clients and employees by being responsive, timely, and accurate in all communications
- Fully manage remote new hire onboardings including pre-employment screening management, welcome phone calls and emails to new employees, coordinating, tracking, and collecting all paperwork, verifying I-9documentation, and assisting employees as needed through the
- Answer and assist with any employee questions that come into the team via phone or email. Collaborate with internal resources and teams to provide accurate and thorough guidance and answers to employees and clients
- Follow up with internal teams, clients, and employees on any open items in order to solve issues and provide excellent service
- Answer employee questions regarding company policies, benefits, employment practices, payroll, and basic HRadministrationWork with rest of the team to ensure clients are satisfied with the service that is provided and that allrequests that come through the team are responded to timely and accurately
- May occasionally assist other business leaders with onsite client or employee meetings
- Understand the clients various policies and practices in order to provide guidance and answer employeequestions accurately
- Partner with team members across the organization in accomplishing team projects and process improvements
Education, Knowledge and Skills:
- High school diploma completion
- Three to five years of customer experience preferred
- Some familiarity with a variety of HR areas such as benefits administration, new hire orientation/onboarding, recruiting, HR policies and compliance, and payroll is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, , Salesforce ,or HRIS Software Programs
- Experience in an HR service center, a major plus
