Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of permanent part-time Clerk/Cashier (24-39 hours/week) (3 Positions) at our C-Store and Gas Bar Location in Big River, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the C-Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
- Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
- Provide in-store service; serve guests, operate the point of sale (POS) system, stock shelves, face shelves, and perform general housekeeping duties.
- Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company and government policies, procedures, and standards in social responsibility of the selling of age restricted items such as lottery, tobacco.
- Ensure a culture of safety while maximizing operational efficiency.
- Have a good working understanding of the POS system.
- Receive, price and display merchandise as required specified by the team leader.
- Complete the necessary daily reconciliations and reports.
- Support and follow the Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies and procedures.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service and meet the following:
- Well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision
- Honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do
- Attentive to detail and have strong cash management skills
- Ability to fulfill physical job requirements – standing, working inside and outside, lifting 20 to 25 pounds regularly
- POS experience and have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment
- Flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
