We are hiring a Senior Sales & Account Manager who will drive customer growth, strengthen strategic partnerships, and deliver exceptional client experience. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key customer relationships, and delivering sustainable revenue growth through both account expansion and direct sales activities. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will engage with stakeholders at all levels to understand business needs, identify opportunities, and deliver tailored solutions that create long-term value.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic customer accounts within an assigned region.
Drive revenue growth through direct sales, account development, and the successful acquisition of new business opportunities.
Develop and execute account and sales plans to achieve commercial objectives and exceed revenue targets.
Identify, qualify, and close opportunities within existing accounts while expanding customer engagement.
Build trusted relationships with stakeholders ranging from technical specialists to senior executives.
Lead customer meetings, presentations, account reviews, and commercial negotiations.
Develop customized proposals and solution-based offerings aligned with customer business objectives.
Champion customer success while contributing to continuous improvements in account management practices and performance.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in managing sales in a corporate setting with proven track record in leading a high quota carrying in a Sales Team and/or new business development/excellent people management skills.
Proficient in all MS Office products with an emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Teams.
Native Dutch speaking, good business English skills (Written and spoken).
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Comprehensive knowledge of Retail operations, procedures and the utilization of technology to really understand customer needs.
An active listener who probes effectively to fully understand customer challenges.
Knowledge of Software, Hardware and Service solutions in the Retail industry would be advantageous.
Consultative sales experience with complex solution design is desired.
Experience working within a customer focused B2B environment and developing strategic client relationships and accounts with senior stakeholders.
Exhibit skills, characteristics, traits and work habits that greatly enhance the likelihood of success as an Sales Manager, ex: solution-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset, time and territory management, customer empathy.
Exceptional communication, presentation, strategic planning, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Demonstrated relationship building skills at all levels of the internal organization, good sense of organizational awareness.
Possess experience with CRM software, such as Salesforce to maximize opportunities.
