POSITION SUMMARY: This position coordinates support for children and families in the area of mental health in accordance with the Head Start/Early Head Start Performance Standards. This position also coordinates services to children with disabilities ensuring compliance with performance standards and recognized best practice in early childhood education and early intervention/special education. In addition, this position participates in the development and implementation of the transition program of Head Start/Early Head Start. This position does not involve provision of direct services in the areas of behavioral health or disabilities.
