Sr. Project Engineer - Plumbing

The Senior Project Engineer – Plumbing is responsible for overseeing all aspects of plumbing system design, coordination, execution, and commissioning within the project. The role involves managing plumbing works on-site, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, safety norms, and project timelines.
- Responsibilities
- Review and validate plumbing design drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals.
- Coordinate plumbing system layouts with other services (HVAC, electrical, structural, architectural).
- Supervise on-site plumbing installation works including drainage, water supply, water heaters, pumps, and sanitary systems.
- Ensure all plumbing activities comply with local authority regulations, project specifications, and international standards.
- Monitor progress, conduct site inspections, and ensure workmanship quality.
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and inspection authorities.
- Attend technical and coordination meetings and provide timely updates on plumbing-related issues.
- Prepare material take-offs, requisitions, and support procurement activities.
- Provide technical support to site teams and resolve engineering or installation issues.
- Assist in testing, commissioning, and final handover of plumbing systems.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation including reports, redlines, and as-built drawings.
