Civil Engineer

Experienced Civil Engineer with expertise in transmission line infrastructure, including foundation design, tower erection supervision, route surveys, and site execution. Skilled in managing construction activities for high-voltage transmission line projects while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

Conduct route surveys and soil investigations for transmission line projects.
Design and review tower foundations (foundations) based on soil conditions and load calculations.
Supervise excavation, concreting, backfilling, and curing of tower foundations.
Coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams for tower erection and stringing activities.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and safety standards.
Monitor construction progress and prepare daily and weekly reports.
Manage contractors, subcontractors, and site workforce.
Perform quality control checks and material inspections.
Handle project documentation and billing measurements.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations and environmental guidelines.

Candidate profile:

NDT / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
Diploma in Civil Engineering (if applicable).
5+ years in civil construction.
Minimum 1 year in transmission line projects.
Construction of 220 kV transmission line including tower foundations.
Substation civil works coordination.
Transmission line foundation design.
Soil testing and geotechnical coordination.
AutoCAD, STAAD Pro (if applicable).
Quantity estimation and BOQ preparation.
Knowledge of IS codes and transmission standards.
