Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor the HSE team, fostering a culture of excellence and individual growth, while prioritizing cross-training and career development
Innovate training methods and concepts for HSE matters, ensuring comprehensive employee education and risk assessment competency across all functions
Proactively track and analyze HSE incidents, implementing measures and training to prevent future occurrences
Provide ongoing guidance and support for risk assessments, ensuring they are regularly updated and aligned with safety standards
Develop and uphold policies and procedures to minimize risks and enhance safety awareness throughout the organization
Support the planning, implementation, and maintenance of plant installations and facilities, driving excellence in social and sanitary standards
Collaborate on purchasing decisions for technical equipment and the introduction of efficient working methods and materials
Design ergonomic workplaces and sequences, optimizing the working environment and addressing all ergonomic considerations for employee well-being
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Safety, or a related field
- 7–10 years of experience in HSE, EHS, or safety management within a manufacturing, industrial, or operational environment
- 3–5 years of experience leading HSE teams or programs
- Proven experience managing site-level or multi-site HSE operations
- Experience working in regulated environments with local, state, and federal safety and environmental requirements
