Job Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining sanitation standards in the kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Observing all environmental regulations, especially chemical handling and disposal procedures, while maintaining the highest levels of sanitation and safety.
- Operating ware-washing equipment to clean china, silver and glassware and stacking clean-utensil racks in an organised manner.
- Washing, rinsing and sanitizing floors, decks, drains, scuppers, ceilings, walls, worktables, counters and shelves.
Ensuring all kitchen and restaurant facilities and equipment are clean and in good working order.
Qualifications:
- High School Leaving Certificate/Diploma
- Food Handler’s Permit
Work Environment:
- The ability to stand, walk and bend for extended periods, and lift up to 30 lbs.
