Description

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Finance team at Holiday Inn Riyadh. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining accounting records, and supporting the hotel's financial operations in line with IHG standards and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and post journal entries and General Ledger transactions.
Perform bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
Ensure compliance with IHG financial policies and local statutory requirements.
Support internal and external audit processes.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Maintain proper accounting documentation and internal controls.
Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by the Director of Finance & Business Support.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and General Ledger accounting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.

The Financial Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The role ensures compliance with IHG financial policies, local regulations, and internal controls while providing reliable financial information to support business performance and decision-making.
