Role Purpose
To lead and manage the Group’s treasury function, ensuring optimal liquidity, efficient cash flow management, funding strategy, and financial risk mitigation to support the Group’s operational and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the Group’s treasury strategy aligned with overall financial objectives.
- Oversee cash positioning and ensure efficient allocation of funds across the Group.
Lead the preparation and monitoring of short-, medium-, and long-term cash flow forecasts.
- Monitor inflows and outflows to ensure adequate cash availability at all times.
- Develop and execute funding strategies to support business growth and capital investments.
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure financing facilities.
- Oversee loan portfolio management, including repayments, restructuring, and covenant compliance.
- Identify and manage financial risks, including liquidity, interest rate, and foreign exchange risks.
- Develop hedging strategies where applicable to mitigate exposure.
- Ensure adherence to treasury policies and risk management frameworks.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with banks, investors, and other financial partners.
Negotiate banking terms, fees, and financing arrangements in the Group’s best interest.
- Oversee daily treasury operations, including cash management, payments, and reconciliations.
- Ensure strong internal controls, governance, and compliance within treasury activities.
- Implement and enforce treasury policies, procedures, and approval frameworks.
Drive the implementation and optimization of treasury management systems.
- Ensure effective integration of treasury systems with broader financial systems.
Job Specification
Education
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional certification (ACCA, CIMA, CFA, CPA or equivalent) is required.
- Minimum of 12–15 years’ relevant experience in treasury, banking, or financial management.
- At least 7–10 years in a senior or leadership role, preferably within a group or multi-entity structure.
Required Competencies
- Strong expertise in treasury management, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity planning
- In-depth understanding of financial markets, banking operations, and funding structures
- Proven experience in managing debt portfolios and financing arrangements
- Strong knowledge of financial risk management (FX, interest rate, liquidity risks)
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- High level of analytical and financial modelling capability
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Sound understanding of financial controls and corporate governance
- Proficiency in treasury and financial management systems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, complex, multi-entity environment
