Reliability Engineer

The primary role of this position is to focus on maximizing equipment uptime and operational efficiency across the mill's high-speed production lines. Working directly with millwrights, maintenance planners, and plant operators, this position tracks downtime data and conducts root cause failure analyses (RCA) to eliminate chronic machinery breakdowns. Day-to-day responsibilities center on predictive and preventive maintenance programs—such as routine vibration analysis, thermal imaging, and lubrication monitoring—applied to critical heavy assets like debarkers, high-speed trimmers, planers, sorters, and drying kilns. The incumbent will also work to optimize spare parts inventory and engineer continuous equipment upgrades, working in close coordination with the Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisors and Production Manager.
