Ingredion is looking for a customer-focused Technical Sales Executive to help grow our Texture & Healthful Solutions portfolio across Thailand’s food market. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building customer partnerships, translating technical ingredient solutions into commercial opportunities, and supporting innovation in beverage, confectionery, sweet, and savory categories.

As a Technical Sales Executive, you will manage and develop customer accounts, support sales growth, and collaborate with marketing, technical service, innovation, supply chain, finance, and customer service teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs and consumer trends. This role reports to the Key Account Manager, T&H Solutions, Thailand, and works as part of a team of 6 colleagues.

What you will do:

• Develop and grow strategic accounts – Build long-term customer relationships and manage opportunities in beverage, confectionery, sweet, and savory categories.

• Drive sales development – Support account plans aligned with business objectives and contribute to sales revenue growth, margin improvement, and customer retention.

• Lead customer engagement and technical collaboration – Provide technical assistance, customer training, and post-sales support while working with technical, marketing, and innovation teams to co-create customer solutions.

• Manage pricing, contracts, and retention actions – Support pricing actions, contract negotiations, and customer retention initiatives with a consultative selling approach.

• Gather market intelligence – Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and support innovation pipelines and product launches.

• Manage projects and pipeline visibility – Maintain accurate customer interaction and project status records in CRM tools such as Salesforce, and track pipeline progress, conversion, and demand forecasts.

• Collaborate across functions – Coordinate with supply chain, customer service, regulatory, and finance teams to maintain high service levels, manage credit terms, and support debt collection follow-up where needed.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the food industry; sales experience is preferred.

• Experience or exposure to food ingredients, FMCG, beverage, confectionery, sweet, or savory categories is preferred.

• Strong communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

• Valid driving license with no major offences.

• Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce, plus market analysis and strategic account planning capability, is an advantage.
