The adjunct faculty will instruct students in the skills required to create engineering drawings using AutoCAD (CADD 235). Building on the concepts learned in Introduction to Computer Aided Drafting, this course covers orthographic projection, isometric and oblique projections, sectional views, auxiliary views, dimensioning and tolerancing, and threads and fasteners as they relate to two-dimensional detail and assembly drawings. Even though some freehand sketching is required, the course focuses more heavily on the use of AutoCAD.
