As an Area Leader in the Energy Module area at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you play a key role in ensuring that every component is perfectly installed in our latest, sixth-generation energy modules — helping to enable greater range and significantly reduce charging times for our Neue Klasse models.
What awaits you?
- Work environment - a highly automated production line equipped with robots, which our team sets up, operates, and maintains to ensure the required quality.
- Team – as the area leader of a production team of 40–50 members, you support your team in cooperation with your team leaders in executing the tasks of the energy module. You ensure the training and mentoring of your team members
- Lead and Inspire – you will coach and develop your team to achieve outstanding performance while fostering a collaborative environment.
- Drive Excellence – you will oversee production processes, ensuring top-notch product quality and efficient operations.
- Ensure Safety and Compliance – you are responsible for implementing safe working practices and maintain high standards for environmental protection and ergonomics.
- Collaborate Across Teams – you act as a key liaison with internal stakeholders to address availability issues and minimize technical downtimes.
- Plan for Success – you participate in planning for technical modifications and optimizing new production facilities.
- Leverage Data – you are responsible for utilizing data to enhance transparency and support continuous process improvements.
What should you bring along?
- Educational Background – a technical degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Chemistry, or any manufacturing-related field.
- Work Experience - several years of experience in similar roles in a work environment that requires high technical cleanliness.
- Language skills - fluency in Hungarian and intermediate English is required.
- Leadership Skills - strong sustainable leadership qualities and skills to effectively guide and develop your team.
- Work schedule - willingness to work in 3 shifts.
