Supervise, guide and monitor the Welding Supervisors and Foremen involved in the daily operations of Welding section to ensure overall safety and reliability of equipment & crew and the efficient management of the Welding activities
Supervise, guide and monitor the Welding Supervisors and Foremen involved in the daily operations of Welding section to ensure overall safety and reliability of equipment & crew and the efficient management of the Welding activities in offshore
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas Industry. with competency for
- Working knowledge of structural, piping and pipeline welding codes such as AWS D1.1, ASME B31.3, AP1 1104 and DNV OS-F 101
- Sound technical knowledge in welding processes such as SMAW, SAW, GMAW, FCAW (inner shield), STT and welding of various materials like carbon steel, stainless steel, CRA clad steel, etc
- Be conversant with client specifications and welding standards and capable of interpreting radiography films of welded joints
- Ability to read and understand welding procedure specification and inspection plan documents
- Good written and spoken English language skills
