Plant Environmental Health & Safety Manager

Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and managing EHS policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (OSHA, EPA, NFPA) as well as corporate standards. Success requires strong collaboration across all organizational levels and contractors to identify and implement effective EHS solutions. A deep understanding of regulatory requirements, combined with exceptional communication, leadership, and teamwork skills, is essential to fostering a proactive safety culture throughout the facility.
The Plant EHS & Sustainability Manager is responsible for leading all environmental, health, safety, and sustainability programs within the manufacturing facility. This role ensures full compliance with safety and environmental regulations, drives risk reduction, and builds a proactive safety culture that aligns with the ASD Lean Operating System. This role will partner with operations, maintenance, and engineering leaders to embed safe work practices, eliminate risk, and drive continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance.
This role is critical to achieving operational excellence by integrating EHS systems, metrics, and behaviors into daily plant management routines.
