Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A Floater Truck Drivers
- • Average $85000 annually
- • Home daily when working in Birmingham
- • Travel expenses covered, including hotel and rental car
- • Driver referral bonus up to $5000 per referral
- • Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days of hire
What you will do:
- • Cover drivers who are on vacation, sick, injured, or otherwise unavailable
- • Cover Class A routes and primarily Class B straight truck routes
- • Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to retail stores
- • Unload freight using a pallet jack
- • Travel to Montgomery, AL as needed to provide driver coverage
- • Stay overnight when traveling outside the Birmingham area
Schedule:
- • Monday through Friday nights
- • Start times vary by assignment
- • Routes typically start between 11 PM to 1 AM
- • Hours vary by route
- • Primarily home daily when working in Birmingham
- • Occasional overnight travel to Montgomery, AL for coverage
You will drive:
- • Late-model, Penske-maintained trucks
- • 48' and 53' trailers
- • Day-cab and straight trucks
- • Best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety
- • Equipped with inward- and outward-facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all
