We’re at an exciting stage of building and scaling our online commerce business from 0→1, and we’re looking for an E-commerce Growth Specialist who wants to be part of that journey.
You’ll play a key role in shaping how we grow our online presence across Malaysia and Singapore — from bringing more customers to our stores and creating high-impact campaigns, to generating qualified leads and ultimately converting them into sales.
What does success look like? You’ll help us build a repeatable e-commerce growth engine that consistently delivers stronger traffic, successful campaigns, qualified leads, higher conversion and growing GMV.
We’re looking for someone who is commercial, data-driven and hands-on — someone who enjoys building, experimenting and figuring out what works, rather than simply operating an established playbook.
What You’ll Do
Drive E-commerce Growth & GMV
- Own and drive e-commerce growth initiatives across Malaysia and Singapore, with accountability for traffic, leads, conversion, orders and GMV.
- Identify growth opportunities across products, customer segments, platforms and channels and turn insights into actionable initiatives.
- Work closely with Marketplace Operations on product positioning, pricing, bundles and promotional mechanics to maximise commercial outcomes.
- Identify and scale winning products, campaigns, audiences and channels.
- Continuously experiment with new growth opportunities and develop successful initiatives into repeatable growth levers.
Own Campaigns & Commercial Activations
- Plan and drive major marketplace moments including 9.9, 10.10, 11.11, 12.12, payday campaigns and other platform-led initiatives.
- Develop campaign concepts, offers and promotional mechanics designed to increase traffic, engagement, leads, conversion and GMV.
- Coordinate campaign execution across Marketplace, Marketing, Sales and Customer Operations.
- Analyse campaign performance and translate learnings into improvements for future campaigns.
- Build always-on commercial initiatives beyond mega campaigns to maintain consistent growth throughout the year.
Grow Traffic & Customer Acquisition
- Develop strategies to grow quality traffic across marketplaces, social commerce and other relevant digital channels.
- Explore and test new customer acquisition opportunities, including affiliate programmes, creators and commercial partnerships that can drive traffic, qualified leads and GMV.
- Work closely with Marketing to turn content, campaigns and customer insights into measurable e-commerce opportunities.
- Analyse traffic quality and customer behaviour to understand which channels and audiences are most likely to convert.
Turn Leads into Customers
- Own and optimise the customer journey across Traffic → Product Interest → Lead/Purchase → Demo → Activation.
- Develop initiatives that generate qualified, high-intent leads from e-commerce channels.
- Work closely with Sales and Customer Operations to improve lead handover, follow-up and conversion.
- Identify where customers drop off and develop experiments to improve lead-to-demo, demo-to-sale and overall conversion rates.
- Develop conversion initiatives such as bundles, vouchers, free demos and targeted offers.
Use Data to Find the Next Growth Opportunity
- Track the key numbers that matter — traffic, leads, conversion, orders, GMV and customer acquisition.
- Analyse performance by product, campaign, audience and channel to identify what's working and what needs to change.
- Build clear reporting that connects e-commerce activity to actual commercial outcomes.
- Turn data and customer insights into actionable recommendations for campaigns, products and customer journeys.
- Establish a test-and-learn culture where successful experiments can be scaled quickly.

Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 3–8 years of experience in e-commerce, marketplace growth, digital commerce, commercial growth or a related role.
- Strong understanding of platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop or other major marketplaces.
- Track record of driving traffic, campaigns, GMV and conversion, rather than focusing solely on paid advertising.
- Strong understanding of the e-commerce funnel and how different commercial levers influence customer behaviour.
- Experience with lead generation and conversion would be particularly valuable.
- Exposure to affiliate, creator or partnership-led growth is advantageous.
- Commercially minded and comfortable using data to make decisions.
- Comfortable working across Marketing, Marketplace, Sales and Customer Operations.
- Most importantly, you should enjoy building from the ground up. We want someone who is comfortable experimenting, learning quickly and creating the playbook rather than waiting for one to be given.
