Under the general supervision of the Department Manager, assists the medical, clinical and clerical staff in the care of the patient by providing high-quality technical skills. The Endoscopy Technician II performs at a more advanced level acting as a preceptor to others. The Endoscopy Technician II assists with the admission and discharge of patients from the holding unit, to ensure a safe environment and quality patient care. The Endoscopy Technician II assists the RN with endoscopic procedures for both adults and pediatric patients in all settings of the hospital and Pavilion.
