Solutions Architect

QVine, an SAIC company is seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to serve as a senior technical contributor on our team. This role bridges the gap between engineering excellence and customer engagement. You will work closely with sales leadership and customers to understand mission requirements, demonstrate technical capabilities, produce Concept of Operations (CONOPS) documents, and architect solutions that align with customer needs. This is not a purely behind-the-desk engineering role—you will be customer-facing, articulate, and capable of translating complex technical solutions into clear, compelling narratives.

This position is located in Reston, VA and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Key responsibilities include:

Customer Engagement: Partner with the sales team and leadership in customer-facing meetings, discovery sessions, and technical demonstrations.
CONOPS Development: Gather requirements from stakeholders and produce comprehensive Concept of Operations documents that clearly articulate proposed solutions, operational workflows, and system architectures.
Solution Design: Architect end-to-end technical solutions tailored to customer environments, constraints, and objectives.
Technical Demonstrations: Build and deliver live demos and proof-of-concept environments that showcase platform capabilities and value propositions.
Pre-Sales Support: Serve as the primary technical resource during the sales cycle—answering technical questions, addressing concerns, and building customer confidence.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, product, and delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with organizational capabilities.
Documentation & Artifacts: Produce high-quality technical documentation including architecture diagrams, integration plans, CONOPS and white papers as needed.
