Senior Actuary - Life & Health - Reserving - North Asia - Casablanca

This dynamic role within SCOR’s North Asia L&H Reserving team has a strong focus on delivering IFRS 17 and Solvency II results for SCOR’s business in Korea and Japan. As a senior member, you will lead key valuation activities, mentor junior team members, and play a pivotal role in transforming reserving processes and systems.
You will take ownership of change initiatives, including evolving reporting frameworks, driving automation, and
fostering cross-functional collaboration to enhance efficiency and insight.
In addition, you will support the Head of L&H North Asia Reserving across a broad range of valuation
activities—covering IFRS 17, Solvency II, local statutory bases, stress testing, and assumption reviews. This
role offers significant autonomy and responsibility, including leading strategic projects and engaging with
stakeholders across the SCOR Group to communicate results and influence decision-making.

The North Asia L&H Reserving team is based in SCOR’s Seoul & Singapore offices. This Reserving role will be based in Actuarial hub in Casablanca and report into the Head of L&H Reserving, North Asia. The North Asia market is a key contributor to SCOR’s overall APAC business. The team is part of the wider APAC L&H Reserving team with offices in Singapore, Sydney, Beijing, Seoul and actuarial hub in Casablanca.
