Your Opportunity
Our Red Deer office has a seasonal opportunity for a Survey Assistant within our Geospatial Group.
The Earth is top of mind for our Geospatial team. On, above, and under the Earth’s surface, we provide our clients a full range of surveying and mapping services. Through our work, we define land boundaries and analyze spatial data. Please note that this is a defined term role expected to run through the end of November 2026, aligned with the current construction season.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Perform surveying tasks using GNSS survey instruments, digital levels, 3D laser scanners, and conventional survey equipment.
- Assist surveying team members with tasks related to surveying and construction layout.
- Assisting in the preparation of field notes/sketches and completing field data downloads and uploads.
- Maintaining field equipment and vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with members of the team and follow standard procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining field equipment and vehicles.
- Responsible for safe operation of tools and equipment.
- Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
