Your Opportunity
As a Civil / Environmental Engineer you will work with close guidance and supervision on tasks and smaller projects, and as a team member of a larger project under the guidance of a senior engineer/designer, you will participate in the evaluation, recommendation, and specification of engineering principles to select the best plan involving the collaboration with multiple stakeholders and expertise within the company. You will assist in verifying compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards/practices.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Works with other engineering disciplines and professionals in the coordination of the project under the direction of a senior engineer/ designer.
- Performs field work as directed by a senior engineer/ designer.
- Assists with basic engineering duties on projects of various complexity.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling.
- Assist in stormwater master planning at a basin or watershed scale.
- Assist in floodplain evaluations, including modeling and permit support.
- Support power sector projects including existing infrastructure maintenance and new infrastructure design.
- Assist in the design and analysis of stormwater management facilities.
- Provide field support for water quality studies, watershed walkovers, stream assessments, and other projects.
- Assist in civil site design and planning efforts.
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned by management.
