Job Description

We are seeking to hire a Business Development Director with experience selling bespoke IT services across Financial Services and/or Insurance.

This is an IC role well suited to a hunter with demonstrable experience sourcing and closing IT services engagements, with a strong understanding of how to position AI and Digital Services in line with market trends.

Qualifications

• Shape and execute our business development strategy in order to meet or exceed revenue targets, with a focus on large-scale IT services deals within Banking Financial Services and/or Insurance (BFSI).
• Build a strong pipeline of prospects by identifying potential clients, understanding their needs and positioning our services to meet those needs.
• Own the sales process end-to-end from prospecting to closing, leveraging our existing customer stories with established enterprise logos within BFSI.
• Apply your deep knowledge of the industry, its technological landscape and the complex challenges it faces to become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on technology challenges within BFSI.
• Leverage our partner ecosystem including OpenAI, Databricks, Snowflake and Hyperscalers to open opportunities within target clients.
• Utilise our roster of technical SMEs with deep BFSI domain experience to enhance our bid process.
• Use our AI-native delivery model Dava.Flow to address clients needs.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives and decision-makers in target accounts.
• Lead negotiations of complex contracts, ensuring favorable terms and long-term success for both the company and clients.
• Provide regular updates on business development activities, sales pipeline, and revenue forecasts to senior management.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including international colleagues, to ensure comprehensive support for clients our growth in region.
• Represent Endava at industry events, acting as both a participant and moderator.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable business development experience focused on selling strategic enterprise technology services.
• Experienced selling to BFSI clients with a strong understanding of the technological trends and challenges within the industry.
• A warm network of contacts and/or previous customers within BFSI.
• Experience leading strategic new business development initiatives to drive sales opportunities for large enterprise clients.
• Sales-driven professional with hunter-centric net new logo sales experience including prospecting, cold calling, qualifying leads, conducting sales presentations, negotiating, closing contracts, and building relationships.
• Strong ability to identify industry pain points to engage with and persuade VP or C-level decision-makers.
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets.
