A Fort Pierce orthopedic physical therapy office is adding an experienced Physical Therapist to its team.

This position is primarily direct patient care. You’ll see a mix of orthopedic cases, including patients coming back from surgery, dealing with work or sports injuries, or having difficulty with strength and movement.

The workweek is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with an average of 1–2 patients per hour.

What You’ll Handle

• Evaluate new patients and determine appropriate physical therapy needs
• Treat orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
• Establish goals and plans of care
• Lead therapeutic exercise and functional training
• Provide manual therapy when appropriate
• Check range of motion, strength, balance, and mobility during follow-up visits
• Update treatment based on how the patient is responding
• Review exercises patients can continue at home
• Complete treatment notes and required reports

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapist License
• DPT or MSPT Degree
• Previous outpatient physical therapy experience
• Orthopedic treatment experience
