Laboratory Test Engineer - Materials

- Check the test samples, read the standards, work instructions, and instruction manual for the equipment. Arrange complex testing plans within the scope of responsibilities. Evaluates test performance and sample operation to properly evaluate test results. Promptly report abnormal test results to the supervisor and provide opinions and explanations as required.
- Assist in the development of new testing capabilities, including but not limited to implementing testing methods in accordance with standard requirements, rationally using and adjusting testing equipment, participating in the design of new equipment and giving priority to automation functions to enhance testing efficiency.
- Communicate with customers during setup and operation to ensure proper evaluation.
- Serves as Project Lead for complex test programs as assigned.
- Understand and be able to explain the specific testing standards and product technology within the scope of responsibility. Provide training for other laboratory personnel and clients. Exchange and share testing experience with other regions around the world.
- Performs complex maintenance on designated test equipment and laboratory area.
- Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job.
- Capable of completing other assigned tasks as required.
