Position Summary:
The Facility Attendant is the frontline employee representing the Department of Campus Recreation at the access point and throughout the Collins Fitness Center. This position reports to the professional staff, and executes all tasks to ensure safety, service, organization, and cleanrack weights in the appropriate location.
Provide fitness equipment orientations for patrons.
Assist with participant registration for group fitness classes and personal training.
Maintain current first aid, CPR and AED certification throughout employment (training provided by Campus Recreation).
Assist with Intramural sports
Minimum Qualifications:
Understanding of exercise technique.
Ability to effectively communicate verbally.
Ability to lift 50lbs to head level.
Characteristic Duties:
Monitor access to the Collins Fitness Center and provide excellent first-contact customer service.
