Behavioral Health Therapist - Primary Care and Inpatient Psychiatry

Work Schedule:
This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position, scheduled Monday through Friday, and every 3rd Sunday. 4/8/10 hour shifts between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will work at 5618 Odana Rd, as well as 600 Highland Ave, in Madison, WI.
Pay:
This position may be eligible for a $3000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).

We are seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist to split their time between collaborative care and inpatient psychiatry. Responsibilities are as follows:
Primary/Collaborative care
- Collaborate with other medical professionals in a fast-paced environment.
- Work as a team with the primary care staff and team psychiatrist helping deliver brief interventions for adult patients, in Primary Care.
- Provide short, but intense follow-up.
- Use outcome-based models to track patient improvement.
Inpatient Psychiatry
- Evaluate patients with a wide range of mental health diagnoses.
- Collaborate with the patient and multi-disciplinary team on individualized treatment plans with specific goals and outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, nurses, and psychologists in group therapy program development.
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy, utilizing multiple modalities and methods consistent with evidence-based practice with a focus on crisis stabilization.

Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or other behavioral health related field Required
Work Experience
- 2 years of experience providing evidence-based treatment for a variety of behavioral health diagnoses for children, adolescents, or adults Required
- 5 years of experience providing evidence-based treatment for a variety of behavioral health diagnoses for children, adolescents, or adults Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker Upon Hire Required or
- Licensed Professional Counselor Upon Hire Required or
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Upon Hire Required and
- Basic Life Support/CPR within 6 months Required and
- Substance Abuse Counselor Upon Hire Preferred or
- Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor Upon Hire Preferred
