The Channel Distribution Manager for Distributive Trade leads the Distributor Core Work Process and serves as the key link between GCash and its distributor partners. The role is responsible for driving sales performance, distributor management, territory strategies, and business-building initiatives to achieve business objectives and KPIs.
The role also provides guidance and business consultation across Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, and Distribution to help improve sales operations and strengthen channel growth.
You will be responsible for the following:
Lead the overall Distributor Core Work Process for the assigned territory.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with distributors, ensuring alignment on sales objectives, KPIs, and business priorities.
Develop territory strategies, business plans, and growth programs aligned with regional strategies and business objectives.
Lead the preparation and presentation of Distributor Management Business Reviews, Operations Meetings, and Distributor Sales Performance (DSP) Meetings.
Work closely with the Distributor Development Manager (DDM) and Distributor Operations Manager (OM) to develop and align on distributor cycle business plans and weekly KPI targets.
Monitor distributor performance and drive initiatives to achieve sales and distribution targets.
Provide business guidance and recommendations across Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, and Distribution to improve sales operations and channel performance.
Train and develop distributor sales personnel on the skills and practices needed to achieve business objectives.
Monitor account and distributor performance, including pipelines, operational concerns, and other key business indicators.
Prepare regular performance, market analysis, and channel growth reports.
Manage assigned budgets and ensure resources are utilized effectively.
Build strong relationships with distribution partners and identify opportunities for business growth.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address issues, improve execution, and deliver desired results.
Ensure achievement of key channel metrics, including active outlets, newly onboarded outlets, transacting outlets, GTV, and cash-in/cash-out volume.
Perform other related responsibilities as needed to support the overall objectives of the Distributive Trade business.
We are looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
At least 3–5 years of experience in FMCG, Telecommunications, FinTech, or a related industry, particularly in Sales and Distributor Management.
Strong understanding of distributor management, trade operations, and sales channel development.
Experience in P&L management, distributor trade terms, and budget management.
Strong business acumen with the ability to understand customer needs, market dynamics, and industry trends.
Strong ability to build relationships, network, and establish partnerships with distributors and other stakeholders.
Excellent presentation, communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Data-driven and results-oriented, with the ability to use insights to drive business decisions and performance.
Willingness to engage in hands-on field work and travel within the assigned territory.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop and motivate distributor sales teams.
Agile, resourceful, and adaptable in a fast-paced business environment.
Passionate about delivering results and driving continuous improvement.
Must be willing to be assigned in Leyte/Samar.
