Job SummaryThe (Mechanical) Engineering Expert is responsible for leading the design, development, and optimization of mechanical systems and components. This role provides expert-level technical leadership in mechanical engineering, ensuring that products meet performance, reliability, and cost targets. The expert collaborates across departments to drive innovation and resolve complex engineering challenges.
This job profile is intended for recognized subject matter experts in a job area. Required to manage large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager. Coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower level professionals.

Purpose of the Job:
This position is part of the Engineering department.
As a Structural Engineer, you will participate in Sulzer projects at all execution stages (Conceptual design, Skid and Modular design, DD, Procurement / Construction / Commissioning support etc.).
Structural Engineer reports to Engineering Manager.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
Design and 3D modeling of main metal structures of skids.
Calculation of main metal structures of skids
Development of the drawings and other design documents within discipline
Material selection within discipline
Value engineering within discipline
Participate in the development of technical specifications for design, technical requirements for supply, etc.
Supervision and support of subcontractors' activities
Checking and approval documentation from subcontractors.
Participation in the development of design philosophy and internal standards within the discipline
Participation in the project meetings, 3D models review etc.
Contribute to development of the overall project schedule.
Tracking and managing changes within discipline.
职位要求：
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
Bachelor in Civil Structure Engineering
8 years’ experience in the oil and gas industries.
Good knowledge of applicable industrial standards and best practices. (China & International)
Good knowledge of designing methods and economic analysis.
General knowledge of oil and gas plant construction.
Language
Fluent in Mandarin and English
Others
Ability to work under tight deadlines with multiple tasks.
Ability to work in multiple projects.
Ability to travel on business trips including lengthy business trips to site during construction and commissioning.
