Job description

Student workers in the Registrar's Office/Graduation Office serve the University by assisting current students with questions; providing excellent customer support and service, and ensuring satisfaction within the office environment.

Student workers will be expected to display professionalism, courtesy, and competence in all duties such as:

• Assist Graduation and DegreeWorks Coordinator with various aspects of graduation including preparing for ceremonies, planning and staging, and duties the day(s) of graduation
• Mail correspondences to students, such as diplomas, Academic Distinction medallions, etc.
• Update and review student records within the Banner system and DegreeWorks
• Answer phone calls made to the Graduation Office's main number
• Scan and index sensitive documents into Laserfiche repository for processing and retention
• Shred sensitive documents after required holding time has expired
• Assist Registrar Staff during campus-sponsored events such as Mane Event and Graduation ceremonies
• Other duties as assigned
