About Pave Bank

Pave Bank is the world’s first programmable business bank. Built by the founders behind Monzo and BigPay, we’re redefining global business banking by combining programmable financial infrastructure with world-class client experiences.

We’re looking for a Frontend Engineer to join our engineering team and help build intuitive, high-performance products used by businesses to manage their financial operations.

The Role

As a Frontend Engineer, you’ll work closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to turn complex financial workflows into simple, intuitive experiences.

You’ll have ownership across the frontend stack—from shaping technical architecture and building reusable components to improving performance, accessibility, testing, and developer experience.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain scalable web applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js

• Translate product requirements and designs into polished, responsive user experiences

• Design and develop reusable UI components and frontend patterns

• Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and financial services

• Contribute to frontend architecture and technical decision-making

• Build reliable, maintainable, and well-tested code

• Improve application performance, accessibility, security, and overall UX

• Collaborate with product and design teams to iterate quickly based on customer feedback

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices

• Help establish and evolve frontend tooling, testing, and development workflows

• Take ownership of projects from technical design through implementation and delivery

Why Join Us

• We recently raised $39 million in our Series A (led by Accel), positioning the company for major growth and giving you a rare chance to join while things are still moving fast.

• Some of the biggest platforms in crypto and traditional finance are integrating with our APIs, and you’ll be the person guiding them through it.

• We’re building a fully-licensed programmable bank, rearchitecting how money moves between businesses, across borders, and between traditional and digital finance.

• We ship fast, think deeply, and expect everyone to have high ownership. The integrations you run go live with real clients, real money, real stakes.

• You’ll work alongside people who came from Monzo, Atom Bank, Blockdaemon, GXS, and Grab.
