Account Executive
RevenueBase · United States · $50/hr (stated in the posting)
RevenueBase:
We're building the data infrastructure that makes AI agents trustworthy instead of error-prone.
We provide continuously refreshed, verified B2B data for autonomous AI agents and GTM workflows.
We've tripled growth while maintaining 100% gross dollar retention and staying cashflow positive.
We power AI agents for Clay, Orbital, Dun & Bradstreet, and the next generation of AI GTM tools.
Why We're Hiring This Role:
We've built something customers love. Now we need someone who can find and close more of them.
We have a proven, repeatable sales motion; this hire accelerates our growth and expands our reach.
You'll sell a product that actually works to buyers who've been burned by bad data. It's a refreshingly honest pitch.
What You'll Do:
30 Day: Learn the RevenueBase platform, shadow customer calls, and close your first deal. Understand our ICP, competitive positioning, and what makes customers say yes.
60 Day: Own your full pipeline: prospecting, demos, negotiations, and closes. Identify repeatable patterns in what's working and feed insights back to product and marketing. Begin engaging with partnership opportunities.
90 Day: Hit quota, expand existing accounts, and contribute to the sales playbook. Actively work partnership deals; building pipeline and closing reseller agreements with companies who distribute RevenueBase data.
Who You Are:
You've sold data products before. You understand the space, the objections, and why buyers are skeptical.
You thrive without a playbook. You've built pipelines from scratch at early-stage companies and don't need a BDR army or marketing air cover to hit your number.
You run full-cycle sales, prospecting through close, and take ownership of your deals end to end.
You have partnership sales experience or aptitude. You can navigate the unique motion of selling to companies who will resell our data, understanding their business model, co-selling dynamics, and how to structure win-win deals.
You're a fast learner who can go deep on a technical product and articulate value to both practitioners and executives.
You want to be at a company where your work directly shapes the trajectory of the business.
Why RevenueBase:
Product that sells itself: 100% gross dollar retention because the product actually works. You're not apologizing for data quality.
Real ownership: Small team, big impact. Your wins move the company forward, not a dashboard.
Proven traction: Cashflow positive, tripling growth, we have product-market fit and you'll accelerate it.
Founding sales role: First dedicated AE reporting to experienced sales leadership with direct access to CEO (previous company sold to D&B for $125M). Clear path to leadership as we scale.
What We Offer:
Real stake: Competitive OTE (50/50 base/variable, uncapped) and meaningful equity as a founding GTM hire.
Comprehensive health coverage: Medical, dental, and vision plans.
Direct impact: Report to sales leadership and work closely with CEO and small team.
Flexible time off: Take what you need.
Remote-friendly: Work from anywhere; Boston/Waltham area preferred but not required.
